My fees and availability

My usual fee is £50 for a one-hour session and £75 for an hour and a half.

Group therapy will always be for a limited number of sessions and the fees will be published in the marketing for that group.

Most of my availability is during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I do have a limited number of evening appointments.

I know that everyone has the option to get a limited amount of counselling free of charge from the NHS. With that in mind, I aim to provide an alternative that you might choose instead because:

• There are no long waiting lists, so your initial appointment can be made for soon after you contact me, and your further appointments will follow on a weekly or fortnightly basis from then.
• My online consulting room is private and secure.
• There will be no paperwork to complete that is unrelated to your therapy.
• You work in your own space and can make it comfortable for you.
• I specialise in the areas mentioned here on my website.
• You can have an evening appointment if you are at work all day.
• You can vary your appointment time to allow for shift work.
• I space out my appointments, always having a break that means I come to your appointment fresh and ready to work.
• You can continue to have sessions for as long as you need to.

Individual and couple therapy both start with assessment appointments. This enables me to gather the information I need to determine whether and how I can help you. It is also an opportunity for you to decide whether you would like to work with me. Should you or I decide not to go ahead and have further sessions, I will waive the fee for the assessment.

Please be assured that in the normal course of events I will keep everything you talk about completely confidential. The only exceptions to this will be if you tell me something that I am obliged report to the police (such as information about an act of terrorism), social services (such as information about a child that requires protection) or health services (such as a concern that you will harm yourself or attempt suicide).
